Recommendations & Safety Notes

If you encounter timing, cycling, or trigger-feel issues after installation, these are commonly suggested options to try — exercise caution when changing spring weights:

• 22-pound recoil spring — may help with slide timing, sticky slide locking back and reduce short-stroke or extraction issues in certain setups.
• 4-pound striker (striker/striker-pin) spring — can complement the faster reset by reducing striker force, but will lighten the trigger pull and you may encounter light strikes.
• Polishing the feed ramp, top of chamber shaft, and under hood of slide. Lubrication is key on all those points of contact as well. Grease has worked great with increased heat temps
• Light trigger pull. if you are squeezing too hard or grip is improper, then you can induce malfunctions such as nose up jams. It may take some getting use to but we suggests dry firing with snap caps before going to the range. Make sure to simulate fast slide movement when dry firing. if you try to rack it too slow then a jam will occur.

Important caution: altering spring weights changes the firearm’s behavior and will make the trigger pull lighter. Lighter trigger pull increase the need for disciplined safe handling. Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot and treat every firearm as loaded pointed in a safe direction.
